“Ian was also a part of a design steering group for the masterplanning of the Northern Recreation Quarter in Albany.”
As project landscape architect at the time, Urbanlogic’s Director Ian J Vincent was responsible for the developed design, detail design, construction drawings and technical specifications for North Shore City Council’s largest civic park.
Design included two contemporary urban public plazas, innovative treatment of stormwater ponds and retaining edges and a feature pedestrian bridge, Ian worked closely with a local Artist for the design of a new pedestrian bridge which spans 60m between the upper and lower stormwater ponds, developed in collaboration with artist Caroline Robinson of Cabal Studios.
To achieve this Ian working closely with other professionals to provide a coherent pedestrian link between the civic park, the new civic crescent transport upgrade and the adjacent Westfield development.
Ian was responsible for delivering the developed design of the bridge, detail design, tender drawings package and technical specification.
