“Peninsula Square, London’s newest and most spectacular outdoor space. It’s a great place to meet with friends and relax before a show or at lunchtime.”
Peninsula Square was designed to act as the gateway to the new entertainment destination at the Millennium Dome In addition to the 340.000 square meters of employment spaces, cafes, restaurants and feature works of art, special events and performances will be staged regularly creating a vibrant new outdoor space for London on a square equivalent in size to Leicester Square.
Peninsula Square, London’s newest and most spectacular outdoor space and is part of the £5 billion, 15 year regeneration plan of Greenwich Peninsula. Patterns engraved in the granite paving tell the story of the Greenwich Meridian.
Geysers set in the square will bubble and mist and then create plumes up to 10 metres high, with vibrant lighting accentuating the square’s exciting architecture by day and by night. The focal point of the square, Peninsula Spire - at 45 metres, is the UK’s tallest stainless steel structure, and a permanent art installation.
Geysers set in the paving animate the square with soaring columns of water. At night, vibrant lighting accentuates the square’s exciting architecture.
